Since our call for rapid response donations at the end of 2025/beginning of 2026, we have received at least $50,000 in cash donations and countless donations of food, school supplies, books, toys, diapers, hygiene & household items, and more.

Here’s a look at the impact your donations have made so far:

GMCC staff & volunteers have packed and delivered groceries for 120-220 families weekly for eight weeks. Thanks to Food Connect Group, we have been able to drop grocery bags off at schools & directly to people’s homes. Thank you as well to individual volunteers who have been bringing groceries to families from schools such as Risen Christ, Andersen United, and MTS.

Not only do these bags contain fresh produce and pantry staples, but they have much-needed non-food items for adults and kids. Home deliveries are so crucial to families who have been unable to leave their homes to go to work or send their kids to school.
